TheDCOffice, Inc. is committed to protecting the personal information of its users and subscribers and to complying with all applicable privacy and other laws and regulations.
General
It is the policy of TheDCOffice, Inc. to request personal information only to the extent necessary to establish and identify authorized contacts and users of the services provided by TheDCOffice, Inc., and to effect payment for the subscription, subscription renewals, and related accounting, billings, and collections.
TheDCOffice, Inc. will not disclose for commercial gain to third parties any personal information that it may receive through the subscription or subscription renewal process or through user access to TheDCOffice.com website or other services provided by TheDCOffice, Inc.
TheDCOffice, Inc. may use personal information received through the subscription or subscription renewal process or through user access to TheDCOffice.com website or other services provided by TheDCOffice, Inc. to notify users of active or anticipated service interruptions, changes affecting provision of services that are beyond the control of TheDCOffice, Inc., and notifications of feature changes, additions or upgrades that may enhance the provision of services by TheDCOffice, Inc., or to solicit from users their comments and suggestions on service quality, existing features, and suggestions for additional features.
FCC Alerts App
No personal information is obtained by TheDCOffice, Inc. (Application Provider) in its provision of FCC Alerts by The DC Office® (FCC Alerts app). (additional information at: DCOapp.com)
The FCC Alerts app, available from Apple Inc.’s App Store, offers individual users the option of receiving, or declining to receive, push notifications when new content is available for viewing in the FCC Alerts app for the service selected by the user: Free Service (News Releases) or Full Service (News Releases, Daily Digest, Late Releases, Blog, and Docket Tracking). To enable an individual user to manage this on-off feature, Apple provides an anonymous push-notification token for use by the FCC Alerts app programming that identifies the user’s device. This token does not contain personal information and does not enable TheDCOffice, Inc. to retrieve personal information of FCC Alerts app users held by Apple.
For subscribers selecting the paid-for Full Service, Apple provides an anonymous “User Record ID” from the In-App purchase receipt for use by TheDCOffice, Inc.’s FCC Alerts app programming. This “User Record ID” does not contain personal information and does not enable TheDCOffice, Inc. to retrieve personal information of FCC Alerts app users held by Apple.
